Our Team

Bill Bolch
Operations Manager

Mr. Bolch, of San Antonio, Texas, is a 1976 graduate of University of North Texas with 29 years experience in major oil and gas operations.  His expertise is in project planning, management and oversight, and he founded and fostered many successful companies, both domestic and international.   Mr. Bolch chooses now to concentrate on development of oil and gas projects in the United States and has assembled some of the most notable, like-minded titans in this industry.  “Red Fork Production is,” Mr. Bolch says, “a final vessel we are building for my family and a group of worthy travelers who will share in this best journey to the other shore.”

Kim Drew
Consulting Geologist

Mr. Drew, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a 1980 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Illinois State University.  For the past 22 years, Mr. Drew has specialized and become very successful at finding commercial quantities of hydrocarbons in un-sexy areas that others have thought involved too much work.   Mr. Drew has a legendary ability to find “deeply buried hills” that famously “trap” oil and gas deposits, but beyond that he has devised a system of elimination that identifies whether or not a prospect is or is not commercial.   Over the years, his “find” ratio keeps improving, and his success is all based on unending hard work.  Mr. Drew’s personal integrity and commitment to family and to hard work have automatically made him a part of the Red Fork Production blended family, and we are truly honored that he and his family are with us.

Robert Dunbar
Petroleum Engineer

Mr. Dunbar has over 46 years experience as a petroleum engineer and geophysicist, and Red Fork Production is infinitely humbled to have him on our team. Mr. Dunbar’s tracks are long and firm and deep, and he was a pillar in the geophysical activities of such companies as  Amoco and Diamond Shamrock.  But thankfully, Mr. Dunbar left the corporate world to co-develop Radiometrics Plus, a very accurate hydrocarbon verification system, with Donald Metcalfe.  Since 2005, Mr. Dunbar has been an instrumental member of the Red Fork family.  His expertise and experience add to our comfort, competence and confidence level, while his proprietary technology allows our geological examination process to possess an added level of clarity.  But more than that, Mr. Dunbar is a wonderful person, a loving and faithful family man, and an individual who is loyal, honest and supportive.  We are blessed to have such a strong bond and association with him, and we welcome his warm expressions of friendship as much as we value his input on all our project evaluations.

Donald Metcalfe
Geological Engineer and Geophysicist

Mr. Metcalfe is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a degree in Geological Engineering.  With over 48 years experience as a petroleum geologist and geophysicist, and having worked with the best and the brightest (Amoco, Diamond Shamrock, and Ennex, among others), we find ourselves humbled to have him as a supportive, faithful member of the Red Fork family.  It is a joy to talk to a legend who still cannot contain that glee in his eye or that excitement in his voice as he relates the latest new toy he has discovered in his beloved invention, RadioMetrics Plus.   When it comes to his technology, he never wavers, and along with life long friend and co-inventor, Robert Dunbar, we live in a brighter universe.

Roy Warren
Geophysicist

Mr. Warren is a graduate of Washington University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and a Master of Science degree in geophysics.  Mr. Warren retired from Exxon Research Division after a twenty-five year career, after which time he utilized his expertise in passive/active electrical methods to develop a correlation between absence and presence of hydrocarbons.  He then discovered that his markers or identification models could be used in conjunction with RadioMetrics Plus technology, so thus was born the relationship between RadioMetrics Plus and “Power Imaging,” which Mr. Warren has named it.  And that is the path that was laid out for Mr. Warren to come into the Red Fork family, through Mr. Dunbar and Mr. Metcalfe.  Mr. Warren has been so kind and understanding to entertain and explain to my son and me the finer points of his technology, which we now incorporate into our verification process.  And we are humbled and enriched to welcome such a modest giant into our group.

H.L. Gaston
Oklahoma
Master Landman
Mr. Gaston is a 1980 graduate of Sam Houston State University, with a General Business Administration Degree.  He is also a legendary Oklahoman land man and we are fortunate in the extreme to count him as an indispensable member of our team.  Time and time again, he has called upon his 25 plus years of experience to achieve an acquisition of mineral interests that we all thought out of reach.  He has allowed us to move forward when we thought there was no “forward” left.  His classic, twang has gained him favor from many a resistant mineral owner and his razor sharp knowledge of Oklahoma Mineral Interest law continues to serve us well.  He represents perfectly our philosophy, as he is guardian for both the Mineral Owner and for Red Fork Production, because lifelong bonds start good and get better.  We welcome Mr. Gaston (and his wife and nine children) to our family!
